Our Founder - Ifeytaya Bulow
Ifeytaya Bulow is the visionary founder of Nayo Cares Inc., an organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by domestic violence. Driven by her deep faith and unwavering compassion, Ifeytaya's mission is to offer not only immediate assistance but also spiritual guidance, helping survivors reclaim their lives through the power of God’s love.
Born in Greenville, SC, and raised in Harlem, NY, Ifeytaya is the eldest of eleven children. Her upbringing instilled in her a strong sense of responsibility, leadership, and empathy—qualities that have shaped her life's work. With a heart for service, she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of 24. Her favorite scripture, Psalms 27:1, "The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear?” reflects her boldness in sharing the Gospel and her dedication to helping others find strength in their faith.
Ifeytaya’s academic journey is as impressive as her spiritual one. She holds an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts, a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, a Certificate in Youth Counseling from Touro College, and a Master’s in Theological Studies from Logos Christian University. In 2021, she earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Christian Counseling from Colorado Theological Seminary, further equipping her to counsel and support those in need.
Her life’s work culminates in Nayo Cares Inc., where she leads with a servant's heart. Through the “A Safe Escape” approach and the Safe Ministry program, Ifeytaya ensures that Nayo Cares provides not only physical and emotional support but also spiritual empowerment. Her leadership is marked by compassion, cheerfulness, and an unyielding commitment to her mission. She believes in the transformative power of faith to heal and empower survivors, guiding them toward a life of peace and fulfillment in Christ.
Ifeytaya’s dedication to Nayo Cares and its mission is a testament to her belief that everyone deserves a life free from the chains of domestic violence. Her work continues to impact countless lives, offering hope, strength, and a path to healing through the love of God.
